The Film Director

Someone has to decide where to look.

TRARO Manager generates cinematic camera movement and records the video directly inside Revit. You choose the intent of the movement and the engine calculates the rest: acceleration, inertia, the controlled imperfection that separates a walkthrough from an animation.

Every walkthrough returns to the exact point where you left the view. It is not a technical detail: it is the sign that someone decided where to look before the camera moved on its own.

Signature Series

Authored style collections, $9 each. The first one, MAQUETA, comes from the materials of the physical model: alabaster, basalt, graphite and kraft.

Collections are imported from TRARO VIZ PRO or from any full license.

TRARO VIZ is bought separately. The Art Director does not depend on the Film Director.

The Colorist

Nothing real looks this clean.

The Revit engine is honest and cold: it delivers exactly what it calculated. TRARO Look works on the footage already shot and gives back what no real camera lacks — grain, vignette, the light that spills over bright edges.

It does not improve images. It makes them remembered instead of calculated.

It works on its own, with no parameters to adjust, on every video you generate. Simple mode is included in the free version; Standard and Advanced require the full license.

Windows will show you a warning. Here is why.

TRARO is independent software. It does not have a code signing certificate yet, so Windows shows Unknown Publisher during installation. The file is safe and you can verify it yourself. The certificate will be acquired with the first sales.

What the installer does

It detects the Revit versions you have installed, copies the add-in to the matching folder and registers the .addin file. It does not modify your models, does not alter your Revit configuration, does not install anything else.

What data it sends

TRARO sends anonymous usage statistics to know what to improve. It never sends your models, file names or project information.

I am Cristobal Venegas, architect. I made TRARO because it was the tool I was missing, designing projects from Pucon, in southern Chile.

You do not need to be in Silicon Valley. You only need to understand the pain of the building site.

No. TRARO works with the view you already have in Revit. There is no render engine, no materials to configure.

Yes, although the time per frame grows with the size of the model. On very large models it helps to use a Section Box to limit what gets processed.

No. VIZ PRO unlocks the full visual system. The camera engine stays on the free plan — three full-quality export Passes, then a watermark. For the full engine with no watermark you need TRARO Freelancer or TRARO Pass.

Freelancer is a one-time payment and it is yours forever, with everything TRARO includes today. Pass is annual and adds every new Signature Series collection we publish while it is active.

Yes. Collections are imported from TRARO VIZ PRO or from any full license. With TRARO Pass they are included.

Your first three exports are full quality with no watermark. After that the free version adds a watermark and limits to the Architectural collection.

You keep the files you downloaded, but you stop receiving new collections and the license stops validating.

Yes. TRARO exports the path to Enscape as an XML you load as a Video Path, and to Twinmotion and D5 Render as 12 keyframe views created in the Project Browser, ready for Direct Link or D5 Livesync. Design the movement once and render it wherever you like.

Yes, inside a Windows virtual machine, the same way Revit does. TRARO's own author develops and uses the add-in from a Mac running Parallels. There is no native macOS build because there is no native macOS Revit either.

It works on any view: plans, sections, elevations, detail views and 3D. And a Signature can be promoted to a native Revit view template, which stays saved in the project and works whether or not TRARO is open.
